Introduction: 

The last months witnessed a huge increase in new expensive releases, upgrades to the game and new modes that required increasing levels of rss to play (UD).  These events have caused players of all levels to feel the pressure of how much money is required of them to stay relevant and competitive. 

This approach by developers is putting a strain on players and is causing many to rethink whether continuing playing this game is worth it. 

We love this game and we want this short term, opportunistic milking to end in order to benefit its longevity with long term sustainability and clear rules.


Objectives & Goals:

1. Have a fun and enjoyable game

2. Make sure the game lasts for a long time

3. Create a community of great sportsmanship vs. the malignant environment that encourages sore losers and backbiting.

4. Make the ability to advance within the game based on availability of items required within a realistic time frame. (Can be sped up with spending)


Issues:

1. The amount of odinium needed to make and repair Valhalla’s is insane.

2. Too many new releases and upgrades with a very high amount of upgrade materials available to buy (I.e. near to no limit at how much they can be accelerated) during the last 6 months creating a huge burden.

3. Hero turnover has become too short to justify the costs for upgrading them and their skills.

4. Décor store costs are too high.

5. Pricing of new items in the game is becoming unrealistic. (ex. Cost of 1 shark resonator = 10$)

6. Bots used by some servers.

7. Mods biased.



Solution:

1. Odinium:

a. Gathering from tiles amount needs to be increased substantially.

b. Add more sources to collect odinium from.(increase the already existing ones).

c. Remove the cost of odinium needed to repair Valhalla’s since we pay to make them.


2. NEW RELEASES & UPGRADES:

a. Space out the scheduling for paid events to a more achievable timetable that allows us enough time to be able to afford & understand the new items introduced.

b. Do not introduce 2 or more upgrades at one time or overlapping. It is overwhelming for everyone.

c. Put a limit to how many items can be bought in shops (as it used to be) to phase growth of top players and make sure the gap doesn’t become unbearable.


3. HEROES:

a. OLD HEROES: We have a total of 79 gold heroes at this time.

We need only 18 for 6 marches and 18 as defense/gathering, which leaves us with 40+ heroes that are not being used and are obsolete. This does not include the purple and blue heroes.

b. NEW HEROES: increase the window between new hero releases.

c. HERO SKILLS: For unused heroes or obsolete heroes allow us to exchange their exclusive skills for equivalent skill shards (even at a slight discount would be fine)


4. DÉCOR STORE:

a. Increase of décor shards within décor packages. As it is, the amount given is too low for the cost.

b. Add them to different stores within the game to be acquired via different methods

c. Rerelease décor bundles on a specific date every month so that those who haven’t acquired them or upgraded them can do so (PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS on hero or base release weeks)


5. PRICING OF ITEMS:

a. Be less greedy

b. Make the amount of items per cost more realistic. (No new upgrades should cost more than X in total, no new items should be available in larger quantities than X/Y and each of these should not give an advantage bigger than X months to people speeding them up)


6. BOTS USAGE:

The use of bots during events to gain an advantage over the other server(s) should not be allowed or swept aside. (The use of a computer simulator that helps fill buildings with marches to override the round cap)


7. BIASED MODS:

The job of mods should be as following:

a. Enhance the game and its development and not hinder it. 

b. They should remain as a neutral party and abstain from taking sides of favored servers or players. 

c. Mods should be chosen from every level of players from f2p to the big spenders so they are aware of the problems that the game and players have to deal with.


Agreement: 

All those who agree to the above issues and solutions are asked to do the following:

1. Please stop spending completely in game.

2. Please stop using Valhalla’s during any events.

3. Use unified Avatar to represent the movement 

4. Please Boycott events (Svs, TC, and all cross server events) as much as possible.
